What can I expect at my appointment?
Your initial lash extension appointment can take up to three hours so plan for a relaxing break in your busy schedule. During the application, you will recline comfortably with your eyes closed while Laya isolates your natural lashes and bonds one or multiple eyelash extensions to each lash. Our technique creates a seamless look and feel like your own eyelashes.
How long do lash extensions last?
With proper home care and relash appointments, you can keep your lashes looking flawless as long as you'd like. Relash appointments are recommended every 2 weeks.

Eyelash Shedding Cycle
The average person has anywhere from 80-150 natural eyelashes per eye. When applying lash extensions, the goal is to attach extensions to 90-100% of your available natural lashes during your appointment. Why do you need a fill every two weeks? It is important to know we naturally lose about 2-5 lashes per day. If you average three lashes per day, this is how many lashes are lost each week.
1 Week: 21 Lashes
2 Weeks: 42 Lashes
3 Weeks: 63 Lashes
Lash refills should be done NO LATER than 3 weeks. Two-week refills are recommended for continuously gorgeous lashes.
Seasonal Effect on Lashes
Our hair follicles go through "Seasonal Molting" which is seasonal shedding of hair .You may notice more hair loss in the fall. With the cooler temperatures, you may notice your extensions shedding at a faster rate than usual.
Summer: Hair and lashes both grow more quickly during the summer. Don't be alarmed by additional shedding. Whatever you can do to keep your lashes dry and free of sweat and oils will extend the lifespan of your extensions.
Winter: In cold weather, you hair and lashes grow slower. Lashes are also more brittle, and as a result, may shed prematurely. This also affects lash extensions.
